Hebrews 11:7-8, 20-21, 24-25, 29
7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter.25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time.
29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.
Numbers 6:22-27
22 The LORD said to Moses,23 "Tell Aaron and his sons, 'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:24 " ' "The LORD bless you and keep you;25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;26 the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." '27 "So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them."
Deuteronomy 30:19
19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
Matthew 18:1-3
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"2 He called a little child and had him stand among them.3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Genesis 48:8-19
8 When Israel saw the sons of Joseph, he asked, "Who are these?"9 "They are the sons God has given me here," Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said, "Bring them to me so I may bless them."10 Now Israel's eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see. So Joseph brought his sons close to him, and his father kissed them and embraced them.11 Israel said to Joseph, "I never expected to see your face again, and now God has allowed me to see your children too."12 Then Joseph removed them from Israel's knees and bowed down with his face to the ground.13 And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel's left hand and Manasseh on his left
toward Israel's right hand, and brought them close to him.14 But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim's head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh's head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.15 Then he blessed Joseph and said, "May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,16 the Angel who has delivered me from all harm -may he bless these boys. May they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they increase greatly upon the earth."17 When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim's head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father's hand to move it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head.18 Joseph said to him, "No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head."19 But his father refused and said, "I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations."
Leviticus 19:32
32 " 'Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD .
Proverbs 20:29

2 Timothy 1:3-7
3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.5 I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
